Safaa Al-Saadi's debut album «Code og Life» is out! On this, he not only shares his vast knowledge as a performer of a number of instruments, but opens the doors to his own music which creates the most beautiful dreamlike images. We are taken to ancient Mesopotamia and up through the history that has created modern Arab music, back to the West in a mixture of rich musical traditions and techniques that only Safaa can.

 

The music is from his piece «Broer av musikk» commissioned by Global Oslo Music in 2014, the album is published by Global Sonics.
